The 2010 Maryland FIRST Tech Challenge Championship was held December 11 at the College of Southern Maryland in La Plata.  Thirty-four teams from Maryland and a special guest team from the US Armed Services School in Aviano, Italy, competed for top honors.  A FIRST LEGO League Qualifier was held the same day. 

Top honors went to the alliance of teams 2843 (Under the Son), 3113 (Craftsmen) and 7 (Tactical Sheep), who won a very close final match against a strong alliance of teams 4240 (4-H Techno Clovers), 2818 (G-Force) and 2897 (Grizzl-E).  Teams 2843 and 2818 won the right to advance to the FTC Championship in St. Louis in April.
