JrFLL Expos

DSC_7958Maryland Junior FIRST LEGO League Expos

Jr.FLL teams come together at Expos to show their projects and models to the public and to a panel of review judges.  We will have multiple Expos during the year in Maryland to give teams a chance to display.  But it's also easy to run your own Expo for as few as 3-4 teams.

We are planning to hold the following Jr.FLL Expos in Maryland for the Snack Attack season, and we are looking for volunteers to host more.  Learn about hosting a JrFLL Expo.

The Expo will be Saturday, April 14 from 9:30 AM to about 1:30 PM. This includes a break for a picnic lunch. The awards ceremony will be after lunch.

The cost to register is $30 per team. Each team will receive a great trophy and each team member will receive a really cool individual award/momento. There will be a demonstration of our FLL team's robot and other cool things to see.

A detailed schedule, explanation of what to expect, and registration form is available.

There is room for up to 20 teams (including our own 5 teams) but we need to order awards soon, so please RSVP by email as soon as possible.

  • 9:00-10:00 Jr.FLL Teams Arrive, Check in at Registration and set up their displays
    9:45 Coach's Meeting at Trophy Table (one coach per team)
    10:00 The Jr.FLL Expo Officially Opens to the Public
    10:00-11:30 Jr.FLL Judging and Displays
    11:45 Jr.FLL Teams line-up to prepare for Celebration Ceremony

    12:30 Take down Jr.FLL displays and clean up
